WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
Internal stakeholder engagement (internal communications) is important for any corporation, especially one that’s growing in size or complexity – both of which are currently true for BCI. Our internal stakeholder engagement team works to instill a strong strategic, yet conversational narrative. They aim to present information in a compelling and succinct manner that informs, inspires, clarifies, recognizes, and delivers a shared understanding of BCI, building a sense of pride and commitment amongst staff. They produce strategic content in a variety of formats for BCI’s growing staff base – including written, audio, video, and visuals. The group’s primary focus is the corporation’s intranet, which has reference materials and daily news. They also lead annual, all-staff Town Hall events; provide internal communication strategies; communication counsel; and staff-facing publications.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
You will be provided with real work experience, integrated into the team, and will actively contribute to the team’s responsibilities, interacting with different members of the group. In some cases, you will be working on initiatives that support their responsibilities, in others you will be working alongside them. Ask questions and engage with team members; they will be able to share their experience and the lessons they have learned along the way.
Core Activities:
- Process communication requests for the company’s intranet site. Write, edit, and publish compelling content (written, video, or podcast) for internal audiences for the corporate intranet – this includes liaising with subject-matter-experts, writing copy, coordinating approvals, creating corresponding visuals, and building digital content.
