We at TUI are looking for passionate Senior Sales Manager for the Danish market. As Senior Sales Manager you will plan and drive sales activities for your local market. You are accountable for sales in all channels in market. You ensure delivery of sales targets for core products as well as dynamic product and ancillaries. You will make sure that the sales activities are in line with our marketing communication (brand to tactical) and meet sales targets. The role includes planning, coordinating, and analysing results. You will identify sales opportunities and provide practical guidance to optimise sales and increase market share. You shall be the expert in your market and keep track on market's prerequisites and competitive landscape. You act as part of the Nordic Sales team and as such will also manage responsibilities outside your specific local market domain (secondary market or any other specifically assigned area), which is connected to overall Nordic sales objectives.
ABOUT THE JOB
Your daily tasks will be to:
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance
- Monitor competitive activity, customers and market trends
- Drive sales performance and pro-actively act on deviation against sales plan to meet set targets for the market
- Short- and long-term sales planning on local and Nordic level including operative sales planning with focus on right distribution mix, right timing in sales cycle and segmentation
- Actively participate and influence marketing communication and distribution priorities
- Actively participate in future product and commercial risk planning, to ensure market strategy and positioning is considered
- Secure effective partner strategy for the market
- Maintain and develop local relationships as TUI representative in local market
- Responsible for local sales steering meetings including local sales & marketing team members
- Collaborate with Nordic Marketing, E-commerce and Commercial (Product, Trading etc.)
- Working cross departments, cross Nordics and backup for other Nordic Sales team members
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's (or master) degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of driving commercial growth within Sales & Marketing team
- Understanding of ecommerce, digital sales and data from diverse sources
- Strong commercial awareness & with a passion for packaging communication with high sales focus
- Ability to think creatively and with a strong drive for sales and customer relations
- Experience in driving sales performance and optimization
- Highly analytical and business-oriented mind set
- Innovative and customer service centric mind-set (ability to foresee customer needs and desires)
- Strong communication skills and presenter in Danish and English
