Student – IT transformation [Denmark]


 

Student, working with digital tranSformation in the inveStment fund for
developing CountrieS – baSed in Copenhagen

We are hiring a student, who is motivated and passionate about working with commercial and
sustainable investments that create impact in countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America and parts
of Europe.

As part of the IT Transformation Office in IFU’s IT department, you will assist in executing on IFU’s digital
transformation – a key strategic initiative with high attention from IFU’s executive management. You will
collaborate with different stakeholders in the organisation, such as the investment sector teams, the
sustainability team and the strategy team. In close collaboration with the IT team, you will support the different
projects that make up the digital transformation and help ensure that IFU’s future digital landscape and IT tools
meet the requirements of the organisation, as well as IFU’s strategic ambitions.

the job
Your primary task will be to support the IT Project Manager in executing on IFU’s digital transformation,
including the purchase and implementation of new systems. Specific tasks will include:

  • Assisting with reporting to steering committee by documenting the progress of the project
  • Helping to set the agenda, book and support the facilitation of meetings and workshops
  • Testing the new systems, gather user feedback and follow up with system vendors
  • Gathering data and analysing how the new systems will improve our work processes
  • Preparing training materials like user guides, videos or online training sessions to help us adjust to our

new ways of working.

Your work schedule will be flexible, 15-20 hours weekly, taking exams into consideration



QualifiCationS
You are enrolled in a university degree and are close to completing your bachelor, and you plan to continue
with a relevant master’s, or you have just started on your master’s. Your specific study is of less importance
to us, as long as you

  • Have an interest in IT, project management and communication
  • Are fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Are an experienced user of Microsoft 365, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Can take initiative and seek out solutions when given a new task



SuCCeeding in the role
As a student in IFU, you will get familiar with how we work and create impact through investments in developing
countries and get exposure to the investment process and impact creation work, working with experienced
colleagues and other students.

Learning is an important element of working in IFU, and we will support your personal development through
training, sparring and by ensuring that you get exciting and challenging tasks that you can learn from. You will
work closely with more senior colleagues across IFU, who will provide both informal and formal training and
many learning opportunities. Further, when joining IFU, you will take part in our onboarding programme.

students across IFU, who are assisting and helping on key areas in the organisation.
