Job Description


The position is responsible for the execution and administration of Hotel Management Agreement (HMA) and Franchise Agreement (FA) renewals throughout the Asia. The objective is to ensure the regions Net Unit Growth (NUG) targets are met and “churn” is limited to within budget requirements. Also to prepare projections, feasibility studies and Project Validations.


Qualifications


Your experience and skills include:

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Hospitality Management, Real Estate or a similar field of study is a requirement.
  • Majors in accounting, marketing, finance, property management or tourism & hospitality management are desirable.
  • Previous experience preferably in the hotel industry, hotel development or hospitality consulting firms.
  • Good baseline knowledge of the lodging and hospitality industry, hotel management or franchise agreements, as well as investment principles with relevant experience in the hotel and/or commercial real estate industries.
  • Experience in other aspects of the lodging, hospitality and/or real estate finance is highly desirable, though not a requirement.
  • Strong computer skills with an emphasis on spreadsheet modeling and PowerPoint
  • Good team working skills and able to work effectively and contribute in a team
  • Ability to display good initiative under dynamic environment
  • A reasonable understanding of hotel accounting, operations and legal aspects.
  • Demonstrated evidence of strong financial and analytical acumen
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Flexible and able to embrace and respond to changes effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional manner
  • Good presentation and influencing skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize projects
  • Self-motivated and energetic
  • Multicultural awareness and able to work with people from diverse cultures
