CREATIVE OPERATIONS
We're a creative family, building copy, data, and visual assets for each corner of the FARFETCH E-commerce Platform. We are dedicated to providing gold-standard imagery, content, and production services for our partners and creating an engaging on-site experience for our customers.
GUIMARÃES
Our Guimarães office is located in this beautiful and historic city, often described as the 'birthplace of Portugal'. This is where our European Production team is based, in a custom-built office and studio facility which has a games room, music area, and unbeatable chill-out zone with a hammock that fits up to 20 people!
THE ROLE
Did you know that the quality of the images we send to the website will be decisive for the client to buy our products? If you do know and want to be a part of the amazing team that decides between the wrong and right, be aware because we are looking for an amazing junior quality technician. Reporting to the Quality Lead you will analyze the quality of the images produced on Farfetch.
Quality Technicians are divided basically into QC IN and QC OUT. They guarantee the quality of each product but also assure that all the processes and art directions are being followed. We ask that you collaborate with the Styling, Photography, Photo Editing, and Logistics departments in the local and global teams.
QC IN is the team responsible for the process after the photography and the studio's image validation. And QC OUT oversees the post-production image validation. Both teams work with specific guidelines, to guarantee that the imagery will be available to the customers with a maximum expected quality.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Guaranty the image quality of the items, considering the quality standards and guidelines provided by our company;
- Check the items on time, with extreme attention to the details;
- Predict and decide if the images photographed will be appropriate to retouch; and if the edited images will go online;
- Be knowledgeable in a wide variety of products (watches, apparel, footwear, jewelry, eyewear, handbags);
- Take initiative and collaborate with stylists, photographers, and photo editors to improve the quality of imagery across all studios (model, flat, and stills);
- Communicate with the logistics to assure that the process is finished;
- Create and maintain an upbeat atmosphere in the studios that is conducive to high productivity.
WHO YOU ARE
- Extreme attention to detail;
- Excellent communicator, with an ability to use both data and intuition to make and inform quick decisions;
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage deadlines and targets.
- Capability to provide constructive criticism – comprehensive;
- Ability to maintain a calm and composed temperament under pressure;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Photography and Photo editing experience
